Structure first, wording second. Fill the brackets with your own numbers.

  1. Strong verb + system/pipeline + tool + DORA-style outcome (uptime, MTTR, frequency, cost).
  2. Weak: "Managed AWS infrastructure using Terraform." Strong: "Terraformed 40 hand-built AWS services into modules with drift detection, cutting environment spin-up from 2 days to 20 minutes and ending config-drift incidents."
  3. No dashboards to quote? Use incident stories: the outage class you eliminated, the 3 AM page that no longer fires.

  • DORA framing somewhere: deploy frequency, lead time, MTTR, change-failure rate — reviewers pattern-match on it
  • The nines with a time window ("99.95% over 12 months"), never bare "high availability"
  • One cloud-cost line with the monthly amount — FinOps awareness reads as seniority
  • A P1 incident story: impact, your role, recovery time, the recurrence-killing fix
  • Certs where they gate screens: CKA, AWS SA/DevOps Pro — listed with year
  • On-call ownership stated plainly (rotation size, services covered) — hiding it reads junior
  • Security posture once: secrets, IAM, scanning — DevSecOps checkboxes are real in screens
